Wolsey District Scouts

Scout Active Support is for anyone over the age of 18 years. It is a way for adults to volunteer time to Scouting in a flexible way that suits them.

There is no requirement to have been involved in Scouting before joining. All that is required is a willingness to volunteer some time to support Scouting.

Wolsey District has it's own Active Support Unit; 'Wolsey Scout Active Support Unit', formed in May 2010, it currently has about 40 members and meet approxiately twice a month. Our programme is made up of both social events and support events for the District, County and Group Events.

We also organise and run the Swimming Gala, which is held in October each year as well as the St. Georges Day Parade.

In May 2011, we provided a drink station at Hallowtree for the Beaver 25 Birthday Event
 

In September 2011, 16 of us went to Derbyshire for a weekend Hillwalking just outside of Buxton.
